Electrical Component Sourcing Specialist

About the Role

This is a critical position responsible for sourcing all electrical components required in BESS solutions, driving energy transition and grid stability.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in strategic sourcing management, with a proven track record of implementing action plans to achieve goals for electrical commodity procurement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive supplier strategies, focusing on cost optimization and service guarantee.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure best-in-class deals, leveraging industry trends and evolving technology.
  • Oversee the evaluation of supplier core competencies, competitive positioning, and industry cost models.
  • Implement supplier agreements and contracts by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Research and anticipate shifts in negotiating power of suppliers, ensuring proactive supply base management.
  • Participate in establishing short-term and long-term planning, budget development, and supplier management program implementation.
Requirements:
  • Complete know-how of electrical component sourcing from domestic and international regions.
  • Understanding of material handling, packing, and freight cost management.
  • Cross-functional experience in Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Excellence, Quality, and Maintenance is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, make proactive decisions, and possess a flexible mindset.
  • Experience in product costing, basic Incoterms, logistics cost, and taxation knowledge are essential.
