Job Opportunity

Tata Electronics is building India's first AI-enabled Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for various applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers, and high-performance computing logic.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the Yield Management System team for a 300mm Wafer Fab.
  2. Collaborate with Digital/IT team to design and develop the Yield Management software and Database.
  3. Create a Data Integration framework that collects data from different sources (E-test, Defect Inspection, Inline Metrology, Sort).
  4. Develop algorithms for data analysis to enable root cause understanding and yield optimization in Yield Analysis Tools.
  5. Partner with PI/YE, CFM teams, and vendors to implement continuous system improvements.
  6. Automate and report yield metrics.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product Engineering and Process Integration teams to get requirements to build software to support yield management.
  8. Ensure reliability and scalability of the software for high volume data.
  9. Communicate updates to senior executives.
  10. Travel as required.
Requirements
  1. Minimum Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent; Advanced degree preferred.
  2. Experience in data analysis, failure/defect analysis, and yield improvement.
  3. Strong understanding of device physics, process integration, yield improvement, and failure mechanisms.
  4. Familiarity with statistical techniques, data visualization, operations dashboards, process modules, metrology/defect inspection tools, and AI/ML basics.
  5. Proven structured problem-solving skills using 8D and other methods.
  6. Programming and managing E-test systems experience desired.

Desirable Experience:

  1. 10+ years' experience in the semiconductor industry with specific experience in E-test / Wafer Sort.
