Job Description:

Virbhu is seeking a seasoned expert in power electronics to lead our research, design, and development efforts. As Head of Technical Engineering, you will oversee the creation of innovative power electronic systems for various applications, including vehicle charging infrastructure and renewable energy.

Responsibilities:
  • Define and lead the R&D strategy to develop products meeting application requirements and specifications
  • Develop a technology development roadmap to support the execution of the product roadmap
  • Oversee design, development, and testing of power electronic circuits, converters, inverters, controls, software, and integrated systems
  • Lead product specifications, design, and modelling of power electronics used in power converters
  • Lead the creation of schematics, BOMs, test specifications, and technical documentation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Power Electronics or related field; PhD preferred
  • 20+ years of progressive experience in R&D management within the power electronics domain
  • Extensive experience in product development and lifecycle management
  • Strong knowledge of power semiconductor devices, embedded systems, control algorithms, and hardware design
  • Skilled in leading organizational development and driving change
