Job Title: Electrical Systems Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled electrical systems specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control systems, drive selection, and safety compliance for semiconductor capital equipment.

This role requires hands-on technical expertise, the ability to handle industrial I/O systems, and a solid foundation in risk assessment and machine safety.

  • Lead the design, selection, and sizing of motors, drives, and motion systems for semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Work with industrial I/O systems; familiarity with B&R PLCs is an advantage.
  • Contribute to risk assessments per SEMI S14, EN ISO 13849, and SIL/PL standards.
  • Design AC/DC power distribution systems compliant with NFPA 79, SEMI S22, and relevant UL standards.
Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading cross-functional teams to capture and clarify technical requirements, load/motion integration for new and existing projects.
  • Taking ownership of assigned projects, and when required, leading a team of engineers.
  • Preparing and maintaining electrical schematics, I/O lists, cable routing diagrams, and BOMs using SolidWorks Electrical.
  • Managing and maintaining product data in PLM systems.
  • Providing hands-on troubleshooting support for control panels, drives, and I/O systems.
