Job Title: Risk Manager for Unsecured Personal Loans

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Risk Manager to lead risk monitoring and policy design for our Unsecured Personal Loan (PL) portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Own end-to-end risk strategy across the PL portfolio.
  2. Set up and monitor Early Warning Systems (EWS) and bounce triggers.
  3. Deep-dive into bounce rate, delinquency trends, and segment-wise risk.
  4. Design and maintain scorecards, rule engines, and risk-based segmentation.
  5. Define and update the credit risk policy framework and underwriting models.
  6. Regular portfolio reviews and MIS creation for leadership and partners.
  7. Support and align risk actions with collections and recovery strategies.
  8. Leverage data queries and dashboards for proactive risk tracking and control.

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience in credit risk in NBFC/Fintech (Unsecured PL).
  • Must have worked across the lending lifecycle: underwriting, portfolio management, collections.
  • Education: Engineer / MBA / CA from a reputed institute.
  • Strong analytical mindset with hands-on skills in SQL, Excel, or Python.
  • Experience in scorecard design, EWS implementation, and bounce analysis.
  • Comfort with cross-functional collaboration-product, analytics, collections, tech.
