Job Title: Strategic Credit Risk Leader

Are you a seasoned professional with expertise in credit risk analysis looking to take on a leadership role? We have an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Credit Risk Leader who will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of effective credit risk strategies across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a portfolio of institutional and corporate clients across multiple industries.
  • Lead due diligence, structuring, and documentation for transactions.
  • Review forward-looking credit analysis and financial modeling to provide insight into clients' industries and key business risks.
  • Exercise meaningful credit approval authority.
  • Interact closely with transaction stakeholders, including client coverage teams and product bankers.
  • Review credit and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Mentor and develop junior credit risk team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with market and industry developments and their impact on clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum six years of experience in a credit risk or credit analysis role within corporate, institutional, and/or investment banking.
  • Strong credit risk analysis skills covering qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Deep understanding of products across debt markets and derivatives, as well as related documentation.
  • Ability to identify key issues and concerns related to clients, their industries, and transaction structures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good time management and clarity in thinking when dealing with multiple work streams.
  • Ability to foster relationships and interact confidently with origination teams and other internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other MS programs.
  • Undergraduate degree or postgraduate qualifications in accounting, business, finance, or a quantitative related discipline.
