Senior Business Strategist

The Senior Business Strategist is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive business strategies, plans, and procedures to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic goals for performance and growth.
  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision.
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and work with executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.) to ensure maximum performance.
  • Lead employees to encourage dedication and motivation.
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
  • Assist in fundraising ventures.
  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.).
  • Manage relationships with partners and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles with a focus on business strategy and operations management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience developing and implementing operational strategies and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of business process optimization, supply chain management, and logistics.
  • Financial acumen and budget management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the ship repair & upgradation, shipbuilding, defence technology, equipment sales & services, and weapons & electronics industries.
  • Familiarity with maritime regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards.
