Job Description:

As a Strategic Operations Director, you will oversee the operational aspects of a regional interior project. Your primary goal is to ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with design and production teams to meet committed timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for owning the customer experience from project booking to handover. This includes acting as the highest point of escalation for issues raised by customers and resolving them within committed ETAs.
  • Continuous coordination with cross-functional teams such as installer teams, vendor teams, category teams, product teams, etc., is essential to enable faster issue resolution.
  • You will be a people manager who empowers existing team members and hires top talent in the country to strengthen the regional team.
  • Maintaining adherence to defined process SOPs and standards is crucial to provide a standardized customer experience.
  • Responsibilities include Customer Move-In Timeline Adherence, Customer Overall CSAT Score, and Quicker resolution of customer escalations.

Requirements:

  • A strong educational background preferably from top-tier institutions like NIT/BITS/IIT or MBA from IIM/Tier 1 B-schools.
  • 7-12 years of overall work experience in startups or operations in similar industries.
  • Prior experience in people management is essential with direct team reporting in previous roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
  • A structured thought process and strong analytical ability are necessary to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Managing strategic alliances/business partnerships through builders, architects, and interior consultants is vital to achieve maximum project reach.
