Job Overview

The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for driving and overseeing end-to-end operations. The incumbent plays a pivotal role in streamlining processes, ensuring effective governance, and aligning business functions with strategic objectives.

The COO will lead, monitor, and enhance overall operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and seamless execution. They will also define, implement, and improve process flows to align with regulatory requirements and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Lead and oversee critical support functions including IT, HR, Finance, and Audit.
  • Process Excellence: Implement process improvements to ensure efficient execution and compliance.
  • Transaction Monitoring: Evaluate and report on transaction status, ensuring transparency and timely updates.
  • Technology Oversight: Provide strategic direction and oversight for IT systems and processes.
  • People & Culture: Oversee HR function, including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Financial Stewardship: Supervise Finance function, ensuring sound financial management and accurate reporting.
  • Risk & Governance: Provide oversight to the Audit function, ensuring strong internal controls and proactive risk management.
Candidate Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in financial services, with significant exposure to ARC / NBFC / Banking operations.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing ARC business.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and process management capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
