Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished operational leader to spearhead the in-country delivery of our India strategy.

  • The successful candidate will oversee operations, governance, and compliance for three entities while managing a talented team of 11.

This role will be based in our Bengaluru office with a minimum of two days per week.

The Operations Head will lead the local office, maintain statutory compliance, hold a directorship, and ensure seamless collaboration with international colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate as legal representative and Director for all Indian entities, ensuring adherence to local laws and internal policies.
  2. Oversee budgeting, team management, financial planning, and reporting across all business units.
  3. Lead and develop the Bengaluru-based team; mentor managers and foster a high-performance culture.
  4. Deliver against a mission-led strategy focused on professional development, engineering excellence, and social impact.
  5. Liaise with international teams to ensure operational alignment.
  6. Represent the organization with confidence in legal, governance, and business forums.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven operational leadership experience in India - ideally in a professional membership body, association, or similarly regulated environment.
  • Exceptional understanding of governance, compliance, and HR practices.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L.
  • Ability to drive strategy with warmth, rigour, and agility.
  • Line management experience with the gravitas to lead national delivery.
