Job Title: Area Business Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to drive growth and manage performance in our GI Optima division. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, market understanding, and a passion for driving excellence in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales growth and market share in the assigned territory for the GI Optima portfolio.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Plan and execute field activities including visits, educational events, and promotional initiatives.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and institutions.
  • Evaluate team performance regularly and provide actionable feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and operational issues.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Pharmacy; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Familiarity with the GI therapeutic area is an added advantage.
