Job Title

Job Purpose

  • Ensure that the team sends updates promptly and proactively to all business teams on their queries.
  • Manage customs clearances for import and indigenous shipments on time across India.
  • Monitor license validity and initiate renewals in advance for India.
  • Process CHA invoices and USD payments to foreign suppliers on time for India.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports on pending activities to respective business teams on time.
  • Monitor CG, BLUT, and B17 Bond balances for India and renew as needed.
  • Identify, initiate, and drive debonding activities across India for old/obsolete assets procured without payment of duty for STPI and SEZ units.
  • Maintain good working relationships with STPI, SEZ, and Central Excise officials to secure approvals in minimum turnaround time for India.
  • Support area expansion, new registrations, and timely renewals of LOA, LOP, and Excise Licenses for India.
  • Support Import Export Certificate modifications for India.
Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage site teams effectively, including regular structured management team meetings and employee performance reviews.
  • Develop and implement client-specific training programs for existing team members and induction programs for new joiners.
  • Track team meeting outcomes and ensure regular communication with team members.
  • Release newsletters/communications to improve engagement levels in the area of STPI/SEZ.
  • Maintain strong customer service and provide immediate solutions.
  • Stay updated on STPI-SEZ policy and procedure changes and work with the team for necessary implementation.
  • Achieve financial targets and support revenue growth through innovative ideas.
Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, engineering, finance, economics, IT, law, management, mathematics, risk management, science, or statistics.
  • Minimum six years of experience in a similar role in any industry.
  • Subject-matter-expert in Special Economic Zone and Software Technology Park of India.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels and earning their trust.
  • Strong awareness and understanding of management principles and procedures.
  • Well-organized and structured approach to managing complex workloads.
  • Able to own, drive, and deliver results.
  • Pragmatic and logical problem solver able to analyze complex problems and recommend solutions.
  • Creative thinker driving change and adaptable to an ever-changing work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Numerical skills and commercial awareness.
