Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of the retail business objectives and staff-related challenges, creating strategic recommendations based on this understanding. This involves analyzing human resource metrics such as staffing, retention, engagement, and cost for the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive governance on key human resource metrics including staffing, retention, employee engagement, and operational costs.
  • Collaborate with regional managers and territory managers on recruitment, compensation, and employee relations initiatives.
  • Operate independently to ensure employee satisfaction, development, and growth within the team.
  • Develop, train, and mentor HR initiatives and best practices for the team.
  • Directly interact with store staff, implement change initiatives related to culture, performance, recognition, and policies.
  • Manage HR operations, induction, performance management, employee relations, and exit processes.
  • Coach individual managers on leadership capabilities and organizational growth.
  • Own and drive HR policies, directives, and strategies to ensure smooth implementation across the organization.
  • Travel across the country for staff meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years' retail relationship experience, preferably in large format businesses;
  • Proven ability to manage big teams and drive results-oriented strategies;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in Hindi and English languages.
