Business Development Representative

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to join our team. As a BDR, you will be responsible for generating new leads and qualifying existing ones through high-volume cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Outreach: Conduct thorough research on potential clients and create personalized outreach campaigns to establish meaningful connections.
  • Lead Qualification: Use defined criteria and call scripts to qualify prospects and prioritize follow-ups.
  • Appointment Setting: Secure discovery calls and on-site meetings with senior sales team members, manage calendars, and confirm appointments.
  • CRM Management: Update all interactions, notes, lead statuses, and next steps in the CRM in real-time and maintain data hygiene.
  • Follow-Up Nurturing: Run structured follow-up cadences to progress leads through the funnel.
  • Scripting: Develop and refine call scripts and sequences to increase conversion rates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales development, or a similar role.
  • Strong cold calling and objection-handling skills, comfortable with outreach targets.
  • Appointment setting experience with measurable results.
  • Solid CRM proficiency and habit of meticulous data entry.
  • Ability to qualify leads using frameworks like BANT, MEDDIC, or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, confident, clear, and persuasive.
  • Organized, goal-driven, and resilient with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
