Job Summary

We are a trusted provider of software that enables our customers to develop, deploy and manage responsible AI powered applications and experiences with agility and ease.

In this role, you will be primarily focused on identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities while maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships. Your primary objective is to expand Progress's footprint in the US market by acquiring new clients through strategic sales plans.

New Business Acquisition:

  1. Work on qualified opportunities passed over to you.
  2. Identify potential clients through research, networking, and market analysis.
  3. Develop strategic sales plans to achieve new business targets.
  4. Build a robust pipeline of prospects and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
  5. Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our offerings.
  6. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business deals.

Your Background

  • Technical software product sales experience in the US market.
  • Strong communication, listening, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills to interact with technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle customer questions and issues effectively.
  • A highly motivated self-starter with the ability to drive business independently.
  • Solid working knowledge of Salesforce.com and PC Tools.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong phone, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Motivation to achieve sales targets/goals and comfortable with a quota-based variable compensation.
  • Availability to work in the US time zone (6:30 PM IST to 3:30 AM IST).lsi>No definite salary range has been provided. A good candidate can expect a salary around $80,000-$100,000 per annum based on industry standards and location.
