Procurement Specialist

About the Role:

  • Lead vendor engagement and management across various regions.
  • Evaluate commercial proposals and prepare comparative analyses to inform strategic purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure timely procurement of long-lead and other materials with a focus on quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee supply chain operations to maintain consistent material flow for uninterrupted project execution.
  • Negotiate and enforce suitable terms and conditions in all purchase agreements.
  • Approve and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) for accuracy and alignment with project needs.
  • Coordinate logistics to guarantee materials are delivered to sites on time.
  • Validate vendor invoices in coordination with the accounts team to ensure timely processing.
  • Authorize advance and cash payments aligned with company policies.
  • Ensure submission of warranty certificates by vendors for project handover.
  • Develop and monitor project and material schedules.
  • Promote and enforce procurement best practices as per organizational quality processes.

  • Strong analytical and financial skills; capable of interpreting complex data and performing in-depth cost analyses.
