Your Role

As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic finance team and play a critical role in supporting business growth and financial health.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Closing books on time and accurately
  • Preparing Management Information Systems (MIS) reports and providing insights for business decision-making
  • Ensuring compliance with key regulations, including GAAP, Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and indirect tax laws
  • Identifying areas for process improvements and bringing efficiencies in existing financial systems and practices
  • Assisting in financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
  • Preparing and presenting accurate financial statements

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)/ MBA-Finance with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience or completed articleship
  • Background in accounting, compliance, and financial reporting, with exposure to healthcare or startup environments considered a plus
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and indirect tax regulations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide actionable insights from financial data
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, along with advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management
