About this role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Business Finance/Financial Planning and Analysis expert.

This is an exciting opportunity for a finance leader to drive business growth, optimize financial performance, and provide strategic insights to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with experience in developing annual budgets, building comprehensive financial models, and analyzing revenue analytics.

They will be responsible for monitoring targets, implementing course corrections, and publishing regular Management Information Systems (MIS) and dashboards for leadership and management teams.

The successful candidate will also have strong data gathering and manipulation skills, ability to develop partnerships with business leaders, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual budgets and build comprehensive financial models.
  • Monitor targets and implement course corrections against plan vs actual performance.
  • Publish regular Management Information Systems (MIS) and dashboards for leadership, investors, and management teams.
  • Conduct deep revenue analytics and insights.
  • Perform periodic data reconciliation between internal and insurer data, addressing revenue gaps with insurers and the internal sales team.
  • Analyze cost KPIs, monitor key metrics, bring insights, and control leakages.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and support metrics reporting for relevant processes.
  • Participate in projects to automate systems for operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong data gathering and manipulation skills.
  • Ability to develop a strong partnership with business leaders, influencing and persuading them as needed.
  • Strong business acumen, curiosity, agility, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication (written, verbal, and presentation) skills, including editorial expertise.
  • Deep expertise in Excel, Google Spreadsheet, presentations, and models.
  • Prior experience in business-facing roles will be an added advantage.
  • Strong experience with Google Suite & Microsoft Suite.
