Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Engineer to join our team. As a Water Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the design and development of large-scale projects in a team environment.

  • You will work closely with our experienced engineers to ensure the successful completion of engineering design assignments.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years' experience working on wastewater modelling for ANZ and UK & I regions, particularly in model calibration and verification.
  • A strong understanding of Infoworks ICM hydraulic modelling software is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in modeling tools such as Water GEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, and GeoPak would be advantageous.
  • You will also have hands-on experience with wet utilities, including potable water, storm water drainage, treated sewage effluent, and sewerage networks, as well as pressure and gravity design using AutoCAD 2D and Civil3D.
  • Additional responsibilities include providing technical support to designers for relocation/shifting of assets, asset tagging, connection drawings, and standard drawings.
  • You will also conduct clash analysis using Navisworks and have experience working in Common Data Environment (ProjectWise and BIM 360).
  • As a lead engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating with lead offices, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring quality checks.
  • You will also participate in training and providing technical support to design staff on Building Information Modeling systems.
  • Other duties include d planning on various projects and utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge from concept to completion.
  • You will assist in the development of concept, preliminary, and detailed engineering drawings, plans, and general and drainage plan drawings, plan/profile drawings, section drawings, and detail drawings.
  • You will also complete design activities to specified standards, including earthworks modeling and design, sanitary and storm sewer design, watermain design, grading of roads and drive isles, lot grading, and stormwater management design of ponds and other retention systems.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in an appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent education from an accredited college or university.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng), Professional Engineer (PE) license, or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization.
  • Highly motivated, hardworking, interpersonal, and enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills.
  • US/UK/Canada experience will be advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently at times and see the bigger picture.
  • Confident and able to work either independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Accountability for assigned work and accuracy and precision of work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
