Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in all aspects of our manufacturing process.

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Coimbatore. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations;
  • Developing and implementing quality management systems;
  • Conducting quality audits and inspections;
  • Maintaining records and documentation;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues;

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and control, with experience working in a manufacturing environment. You will possess excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

  1. Quality System Development and Maintenance: Developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS). This includes establishing and documenting procedures, work instructions, and standards that align with industry certifications.
  2. Quality Planning and Process Control: Interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T, developing inspection plans, implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC), and conducting First Article Inspection (FAI).
  3. Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions: Conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and managing non-conforming materials.
  4. Inspection and Metrology: Performing hands-on inspection of parts, using manual and advanced equipment, and analyzing surface finish.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Analyzing quality data, identifying trends, and leading initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field;
  • Experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in quality auditing procedures;
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations;
