Production Maintenance Specialist

Job Description:

The Production Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with production teams to optimize production efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

B Tech in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering; Fresher candidate preferred

  • Handling shifts maintenance activity for Oral dosage/LVP manufacturing area
  • Ensuring compliance of GMP/GEP/GDP
  • Working safely, applying LOTO during maintenance activities
  • Collaborating with production teams to formulate cost-effective manufacturing processes
  • Supervising electrical works during new installations

Responsibilities:

Responsible for instrument calibration and QMS documentation. Work all shifts flexibly whenever required. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Reviewing and maintaining the PLC system, SCADA, Servo Motors & Drives, control valves & switches, VFDs, Relays, and different electronic circuits, motors, star delta starters, relay, Panel & switch gear, Contractor. Provide safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To ensure safety compliance as per Abbott Safety Guidelines. Learn new skills and attend training programs in other to increase knowledge of trends and best practices in the industry. Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process. Supervise electrical works when new installations are undertaken. The base pay for this position is N/A. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
