**Job Title:** Operations and Maintenance Officer

**Job Description:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of production equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and performing routine checks.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning within established standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve any operational or technical issues that may arise during production runs.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial technology) preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or relevant industry (e.g. manufacturing, oil and gas).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical controls, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights (e.g. ladders, scaffolding).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Other Information:

  • This is a full-time position with regular working hours (40 hours per week).

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks as scheduled (e.g. cleaning, lubrication, calibration).
  • Identify and report any issues or defects in equipment or processes.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
