Job Description

Exide Energy Solutions Limited is a leading battery manufacturing and distribution company in India.

The company invests heavily in research and development to further develop lithium-ion technology, including the setup of an in-house team and necessary lab infrastructure.

We are looking for a skilled Deputy Manager/Manager - Server Administrator with expertise in configuration and installation of servers, operating systems administration, hardening, load balancers, firewall management, and vendor management.

  • Configuration and installation of various servers (Physical and Virtual), SAN Storage and Backup application
  • Creation of Users, Groups, Mailboxes on O365 console
  • Management of Windows and RHEL Servers (File, FTP, Print, so on) SAN Switch and Storage
  • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.

The role involves:

  • Server configuration, operating systems administration, hardening, load balancers, firewall management, user management, process management, resource contention, preventive maintenance, and update management to ensure system integrity.
  • Leading data center operations and cloud services.
  • Periodic health checks of systems, troubleshooting problems, analyzing, and implementing rectification measures.
  • Installation and upgrade of computer components and software, virtual server management, automation process integration, AD management, server backups and recovery, and proactive monitoring using Intune.
  • Hands-on experience with VMWare, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
