Job Opportunity: Senior Oracle Exadata DBA

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Exadata Database Administrator to play a key role in implementing, configuring, maintaining, and ensuring the availability and performance of critical Oracle RDBMS systems, including Exadata and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical skills, cloud migration experience, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and sustaining multiple clients across various Oracle versions and platforms, ensuring operational readiness for both on-premises and cloud-based Oracle environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, configure, and maintain Oracle Exadata systems (compute nodes, storage cells, InfiniBand)
  • Manage Oracle databases on OCI, including provisioning, patching, backup, and recovery
  • Lead and support end-to-end cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to OCI
  • Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions (RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate)
  • Monitor and tune performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and SQL tuning tools

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of production database support
  • Hands-on experience supporting large-scale database environments
  • Proven experience with Oracle Exadata systems
  • Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Grid Infrastructure
  • Public Cloud experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) required; OCI certifications preferred
