AWS Cloud Architect

Job Profile:

We are seeking an experienced AWS cloud architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a vital role in designing and managing advanced cloud solutions that power mission-critical applications.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS cloud services, including EC2, RDS, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch. They will be responsible for architecting and leading AWS-based infrastructure solutions with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities include managing and optimizing AWS RDS (SQL) and EC2 SQL environments, designing and executing SQL database migration strategies within AWS, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, handling configuration management using Chef, developing and maintaining automation scripts in Ruby for deployments and configurations, collaborating with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to define and deliver infrastructure solutions, proactively monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues across cloud and database layers, and ensuring adherence to security best practices and governance policies.

Must-Have Skills:

  • AWS Cloud Services – EC2, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Strong hands-on experience in managing AWS infrastructure.
  • Deep expertise in SQL RDS & EC2 SQL.
  • Proven experience in database migrations within AWS.
  • Advanced knowledge of Terraform for IaC.
  • Proficiency in Chef for configuration management.
  • Strong Ruby scripting and automation experience.
