As a seasoned project leader, you will spearhead multiple renovation and fit-out projects for our major client in Gurugram, Haryana. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the overall project execution cycle from design through procurement and construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of internal stakeholders, designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely, on-budget completion with international quality standards.
  • Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and procurement strategies for each project.
Pre-Construction:
  • Prepare detailed project timelines, budget forecasts, and procurement plans.
  • Coordinate with cost-planning teams to establish accurate budget estimates.
  • Oversee the design process, including reviews, value engineering, and timely release of design packages.
Programme Management:
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential delays and proposing acceleration methods.
  • Collaborate with hotel operations and client asset management teams to minimize disruptions during project execution.
  • Flag risks to project timelines and develop mitigation strategies.
Contracts & Cost Management:
  • Develop, track, and update tender event schedules.
  • Administer tender processes and award contracts in accordance with company policies.
  • Manage change orders and negotiate with contractors as needed.
  • Ensure timely certification of bills and monitor project expenses.
Construction Management:
  • Supervise site logistics, shutdown plans, and works execution strategies in live hotel environments.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between design consultants, vendors, and contractors.
  • Monitor contractor performance, resource allocation, and equipment utilization.
  • Implement quality control and safety procedures on-site.
  • Manage changes during execution and coordinate project handovers to owners/operators.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in hospitality fit-out projects.
  • Familiarity with international hotel brand standards is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and documentation management.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail in finishing materials and knowledge of various finishing techniques is advantageous.
  • Experience with LEED/IGBC/green building certification processes is a plus.
