The Total Reward Centre of Excellence plays a key role in our customer-centric approach to business performance and individual total reward.

We are embarking on a new chapter where customer-centric total reward solutions will underpin outstanding business performance and differentiated individual total reward.

As a senior specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading our total reward priorities, and delivering total reward solutions which support both our colleagues and our strategic business aspirations.

You will operate at a developed level of conceptual thinking, guiding the business through change and risk management, ensuring that total reward practices are future-proofed, customer-centric, and underpin increased business performance.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide expert total reward advice, guidance, and insight across the business unit(s), developing customer-centric, data-led total reward solutions within Group frameworks/policies.
  • Collaborate with business unit/CU HR teams to identify opportunities and deliver solutions to enhance the effectiveness of total reward, driving improved business performance.
  • Drive increased leadership and line manager understanding of the value and impact of total reward adoption and use.
  • Leverage opportunities to enable managers to make balanced, consistent, and unbiased total reward decisions.

You will implement and embed total reward programmes (cyclical and change) across the business, enhancing total reward value as part of the EVP. You will bring external perspectives and ingrain best practice across the business to increase the impact of total reward on organizational performance.

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed

You will have advanced business partnering skills, leading and shaping partnerships with leaders to translate business unit/CU goals into total reward programmes to increase business and individual performance.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical ability to analyze data, identify root causes of issues, develop effective solutions, and make data-driven decisions to optimize the Reward CoE's effectiveness.
  • Show proficiency in change management techniques to facilitate smooth transition of total reward change.
  • Build the case for total reward change, drawing on data and analytical insights, and communicate through customer-centric design.
  • Communicate confidently and with influence across all total reward matters, tailoring your communication style to suit the intended audience.

You will be an innovation and excellence expert, constantly building knowledge through internal and external learning exposure, bringing thought leadership to influence business total reward solutions. You will demonstrate ability to grow capability of others through knowledge sharing and coaching.
