About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Sales Strategist to join our team in the South region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital advertising, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in ad sales. You will work closely with our agency and brand stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.

Your primary objective will be to drive online media sales and increase revenue for Rooter. You will also be responsible for creating content partnerships, pitching and closing deals with major brand advertisers, and building and managing a revenue pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell and pitch advertising solutions to agencies and clients
  • Work closely with operations and brand solutions teams
  • Drive revenues with key agencies and clients
  • Ensure timely delivery of sales objectives
  • Identify market opportunities through meetings and networking
  • Analyze and produce reports for management
  • Maintain positive relationships with existing and potential clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience (MBA is a plus)
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in ad sales (preferably digital) with a track record of successfully managing client relations and negotiating deals
  • Strong relationships with agencies and clients
  • Fluency in solution selling, pricing, inventory control, brand building, etc.
  • Familiarity with online advertising sales, pricing, inventory control, brand-building initiatives, promotion, and planning
  • Ability to prospect, cold call, negotiate, and close deals
  • Sound understanding of current online advertising trends and various advertising metrics
