We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead and optimize the purchasing process for our renewable energy projects.

About the Role:

This key position will play a vital role in ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services, aligning with project timelines and quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with project requirements and timelines.
  • Evaluate, onboard and manage vendors and subcontractors; maintain robust vendor databases and long-term supplier partnerships.
  • Lead contract negotiations, cost optimization and procurement of key materials such as solar modules, inverters and mounting structures.
  • Ensure procurement compliance with technical specifications, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, lead times and material logistics to prevent project delays and cost overruns.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, project execution, logistics and finance teams to ensure integrated supply chain performance.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, reports and performance dashboards for internal review and audits.
  • Evaluate vendor performance through KPIs such as quality, delivery, pricing and service levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • 7-12 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the renewable energy, infrastructure or power sector.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, vendor management, inventory control and contract law.
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement management tools.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple procurement activities under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
