Job Summary

As a seasoned operations professional, you will lead a team of warehouse associates in ensuring timely delivery of Amazon orders. Your expertise in productivity analysis and labor management will drive efficiency and effectiveness in our Fulfillment Centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine productivity requirements to meet building objectives through thorough work forecast review.
  • Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor resources and optimize shift schedules.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by supporting all safety programs and OSHA compliance.
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean tools to enhance operational excellence.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

You are responsible for training, mentoring, and managing your team, addressing their needs, and ensuring they can focus on their tasks effectively.

Physical Requirements:
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching below the waist and above the head.
  • Walking in the FC and around area with great frequency.
  • Continual standing and/or walking.
  • Ability to work in construction/distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, and not air-conditioned.
  • Able to access all areas of the building safely.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Direct management experience for employees and their performance.
  • Experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.
