Senior Solar Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Senior Solar Project Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of solar plant installations, from planning to commissioning. This role involves coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Supervise field teams, subcontractors, and site engineers to guarantee quality and safety standards are met.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and government authorities for permits, inspections, and compliance.
  • Monitor material procurement, inventory, logistics, and on-site delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of solar plant installations, from planning to commissioning.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Supervise field teams, subcontractors, and site engineers to guarantee quality and safety standards are met.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and government authorities for permits, inspections, and compliance.
  • Monitor material procurement, inventory, logistics, and on-site delivery schedules.

Our ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in managing large-scale rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects, and expertise in project planning, resource allocation, logistics coordination, safety compliance, and vendor management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations or project management in the solar installation or EPC sector.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, structures, and BOS (Balance of System).
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP Certification or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Helioscope, PVsyst, or similar solar design tools.
  • Hands-on experience with ground-mount and rooftop solar installations (MW-scale preferred).
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
