Relationship Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Relationship Manager. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong communication, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying business opportunities, and promoting products. They will work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and provide solutions that meet their expectations.

This role requires a strong understanding of banking and financial services, as well as excellent presentation and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a related field, an MBA or graduate degree, and good knowledge of equity and debt markets.

The successful candidate will also have MFD certification and a positive attitude towards customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with SBI Branches in the Region / Location
  • Assume full accountability for all aspects of sales in the Branch
  • Sell SBIMF products at the location and areas in and around the identified location and build relationships for generating sales
  • Prospect customers through new client acquisition, network, database, references, and open market
  • Liaise with investors, distributors, banks, and institutions for selling/targeting specific schemes as identified by the Business Head
  • Coordinate and organize investor awareness programs
  • Build and maintain healthy business relations with customers, enhance customer satisfaction, and secure repeat business
  • Penetrate all targeted key accounts and originate upselling opportunities
  • Ensure adherence to sales processes and requirements
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly business plans
  • Develop channels and networking skills for achieving channel sales
