Leadership Opportunity in Placement and Corporate Relations:

We are seeking a strategic leader to spearhead the Placement & Corporate Interface function. This is a senior role that requires a strong network, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive results.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop placement strategies that align with market trends.

Corporate Relations:

  • Foster relationships with top-tier companies, startups, and public sector enterprises for placements, internships, and live projects.
  • Organize industry events and interactions to increase engagement.

Placement Operations:

  • Oversee the entire placement process, from pre-placement talks to final offers, ensuring a smooth experience for both recruiters and students.

Student Readiness:

  • Closely work with faculty and training partners to prepare students to meet industry expectations.
  • Mentor students on career choices, profile building, and industry expectations.

Alumni Engagement:

  • Leverage the alumni network for placement support, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track placement metrics, prepare detailed reports, and present insights to leadership and stakeholders.

Quantitative Targets:

  • Achieve 360 student placements for final placements and 360 student placements for summer internships.
  • Increase the median salary of the placed batch compared to the previous year.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Postgraduate degree (preferably an MBA or equivalent) from a reputed institution.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate relations, placements, business development, or HR, ideally within a reputed academic institution or corporate setting.
  • Strong network across various industries (FMCG, BFSI, IT/ITES, Consulting, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a result-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
