The Payroll and HR Operations Specialist plays a vital role in delivering high-quality human resources operational support across the entire employee lifecycle. This critical position serves as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing accurate, timely, and efficient administrative support to employees and managers.
This role supports a wide range of HR processes, including payroll, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, data reporting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage employee files (digital and physical) accurately, ensuring they are up-to-date and secure.
- Oversee documents like contracts, personal information, performance reviews, and disciplinary records.
- Prepare contracts and new hire paperwork for onboarding.
- Coordinate offboarding logistics, including final settlements and record archiving.
- Ensure seamless onboarding with HR induction.
- Oversight of end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
- Act as the go-to person for payroll, coordinating with external providers and internal teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll, including salaries, deductions, benefits, and taxes.
- Reconcile discrepancies and stay updated on payroll legislation.
- Administer employee benefits, such as health insurance and leave tracking.
- Track absences, PTOs, and vacation days.
- Oversee our HRIS platform, ensuring clean data, strong system integrity, and optimized usage.
- Serve as the key bridge between HR and Accounting for payroll and employee records.
- Create and deliver HR reports for internal stakeholders.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the wider HR team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 3+ years in HR administration with solid payroll processing experience.
- Strong background in managing employee contracts, files, and HR platforms.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven, with strong time management and organization skills.
- Discreet and trustworthy, handling sensitive data with care.
- Tech-savvy and confident working with digital tools.
