Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead its fundraising efforts, ensuring the Foundation's philanthropic initiatives receive necessary support. The successful candidate will develop and implement a comprehensive annual fundraising strategy, establish strategic relationships, and build a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a roadmap and strategy for the Foundation's fundraising, setting clear short-, medium-, and long-term objectives based on shared vision outcomes. They will also develop a national network of diverse supporters, strengthening existing networks and adding new champions and donors.

In this role, you will establish a portfolio approach to fund raising, distributing effort and targets across different sources. You will execute multiple aspects of the plan, engaging high net worth individuals, corporations, foundations, and other entities.

You will work closely with Foundation Leaders to implement effective fund channelization and utilization processes. Additionally, you will inform initiative teams about emerging trends and outlooks in partnerships and support commitments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive annual fundraising strategy
  • Establishing strategic relationships and building a high-performing team
  • Creating a national network of diverse supporters
  • Executing multiple aspects of the fundraising plan
  • Implementing effective fund channelization and utilization processes

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in business, social sciences, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in direct fundraising and partnership roles, preferably with leadership positions
  • Driven and empathetic leader who can work across boundaries and achieve results
  • Able to work in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision and comfort with fundraising ambiguity
  • Highly organized project management skills, interpersonal skills, executive presence, and cultural awareness
  • Adaptable, innovative, and keen eye for emergent trends, regulatory environment, and policy context
