Job Title

A Chief Audit Officer is required to oversee the internal audit function, ensuring it is aligned with the company's risk management objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an annual internal audit plan that addresses business risks and ensures effective governance.
  • Lead the execution of internal audits, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting, to ensure timely completion and quality results.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of audit programs, checklists, and tools to support standardization and consistency in audit execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Education:

Chartered Accountant or equivalent certification.

Desired Education:

CIA, CISA, or CWA.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or a related field.

Proven track record of delivering high-quality audits, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of management.

Knowledge and Specific Skills:

Strong understanding of corporate governance, risk management, and internal audit principles.
