The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Java and Spring Core/Spring Boot Frameworks, with experience in crafting microservices and cloud-native applications.

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in developing high-quality code is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in messaging frameworks such as Kafka is also required.
  • Experience with unit testing using Junit, Mockito, and JBehave is necessary to ensure the highest level of code quality.
  • The successful candidate will have hands-on experience working with Relational Databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL.
  • Designing, developing, and implementing custom software and database application capabilities with limited oversight is crucial.
  • Excellent communication skills are vital for effective collaboration and fostering a positive team environment.
  • Acting as a member of the team, supporting teammates, and collaborating to ensure project and team success is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, scalable code as part of a collaborative team of engineers.
  • Evaluate and implement quality practices such as unit testing and code reviews.
  • Optimize applications for non-functional requirements.
  • Deploy components as part of the CI/CD process.
  • Coordinate end-to-end application delivery, including production deployment.
  • Monitor application health and KPIs, support triage of any production issues, and collaborate in troubleshooting complex data, features, service, and platform issues.
  • Advocate security best practices and champion the importance of security within engineering.
