Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team of engineers. As a contributing member, you will be responsible for creating high-quality software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with web technologies such as HTML5/CSS3, Native JavaScript or AngularJS or Angular or ReactJS and other web server technologies.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Developing software that meets requirements and promotes re-use of software components
  • Diagnosing and implementing remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements in engineering practices
  • Utilizing software-based system maintenance and tracking tools
  • Providing input for technical documentation and user help materials
  • Conducting unit tests and implementing changes to ensure adherence to test plans and functional/non-functional requirements
  • Implementing software mechanisms to improve code stability, performance, and reusability
  • Participating in code review sessions
  • Creating high-fidelity estimates of work efforts
  • Applying good debugging and troubleshooting techniques
  • Creating high-quality documentation as required
  • Developing and improving test-driven development
  • Learning and applying test methodology and processes
  • Practicing Agile development principles

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Strong web development skills using HTML5/CSS3, Native JavaScript or AngularJS or Angular or ReactJS and other web server technologies
  • Strong understanding of software development and quality assurance best practices
  • Strong troubleshooting techniques and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand business and technical requirements
  • Ability to document requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with designer specialty retail and food & drug POS solutions
  • Experience with POS and self-checkout integrations
  • Experience with cloud development
  • Experience working on one of the cloud technology (AWS, Azure, Google) added advantage
Requirements

Technical Requirements: Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML5/CSS3, Native JavaScript or AngularJS or Angular or ReactJS and other web server technologies.

Qualifications: 3+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
