Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to undertake assessments of existing bridges and prepare assessment reports with experience in Steel Composite and Pretension/Posttension structures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out feasibility studies for strengthening and repair, ensuring compliance with UK design standards and project requirements.

Key responsibilities include preparing new bridge designs and strengthening designs to UK standards, conducting design and assessment checks (Cat II or Cat III) under the guidance of a Senior or Principal Engineer.

The ideal candidate will possess skills to compile drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence within given deadlines, ensure correct implementation of document control and QA processes, and produce work to specified design standards.

Responsibilities also include suggesting revisions to standards as appropriate, ensuring compliance with AIP or other project requirements, using calculation templates, and adhering to technical library and information systems.

Bridge Design, Eurocodes, and UK CEng are essential skills required for this role. The successful candidate will participate in team meetings and learning sessions, continually strive to develop and increase skills in various software, and maintain a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
