Purchasing Specialist

The role of Purchasing Specialist is a critical component in the success of our organization. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and play a key part in sourcing vendors, purchasing various ingredients, and negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing and evaluating suppliers of vitamins, APIs, and other necessary ingredients
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors to secure the best possible pricing
  • Managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock control
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food manufacturing
  • Knowledge of purchasing practices and negotiation techniques
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Food Technology/Science, Chemistry, Business Administration, or related field
