As a seasoned Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Buying and Merchandising strategy of our Loungewear division. Your expertise will be essential in sourcing high-quality products at optimal prices to cater to the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dive into market research to identify future product trends and technological advancements that align with customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure timely delivery of assigned purchase orders and manage stock levels effectively.
  • Pursue strategic pricing plans with marketing and management to strike a balance between costs and margins.
  • Forge strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Work closely with designers to develop styles and designs that meet customer requirements and stay ahead of competition.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to track trends, forecasting, and color palette preferences.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Vendor identification and development
  • Product presentation, packaging, and promotional planning
  • Ensuring timely delivery of samples by vendors
  • Setting quality standards for merchandise with QA
  • Supporting negotiations with supply base to achieve best costs and margins
  • Reconciling store plans and departmental financials
  • Anual review of supplier performance with QA
