Building Materials Category Leader

We seek a seasoned professional to lead the building materials category, driving revenue generation and full P&L ownership.
Key Responsibilities:- Category Strategy & Revenue Ownership : Drive sales and profitability of the building materials category across assigned regions.
- P&L Management : Take end-to-end ownership of regional P&L for building materials, managing key metrics including top-line revenue, gross margin, cost of goods, and working capital.
- Team Leadership : Lead and manage a team of category and procurement managers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance.
- Vendor & Supply Chain Management : Build strong supplier relationships for reliable and cost-effective material sourcing, negotiating with manufacturers and vendors for better terms and pricing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Coordinate with project execution, logistics, finance, and technology teams, ensuring smooth end-to-end material flow.
The ideal candidate has 10–18 years of experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain, preferably in construction or real estate, with strong negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills.
