Job Description:

As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems. Your primary responsibilities will include creating and maintaining Security Operation Procedures (SOPs) that align with organizational policies.

You will be responsible for integrating new devices into our Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system, including on-premise and cloud-based solutions. Additionally, you will have experience in threat hunting, red teaming, and cyber drills, as well as monitoring device integration status and supporting teams to ensure smooth operation.

Other key responsibilities will include supporting teams in defining SOPs and performing triage, ensuring the proper functioning of the SIEM tool and related processes, and reporting computer security events according to established procedures.

You will also coordinate with system owners and other departments as needed to analyze events and drive necessary requirements for closure. Furthermore, you will support ongoing analysis and response of computer security incidents by the SOC Monitoring Team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of technical experience working in a SOC or incident response, preferably with BFSI sector experience, especially in banking.
  • Experience with one or more Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions, especially with Dnif.
  • In-depth understanding of security threats, threat attack methods, and the current threat environment.
  • Experience in security monitoring, Incident Response (IR), security tools configuration, and security remediation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to articulate and propose security solutions in business terms.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide support for audit and compliance requirements within defined timelines.

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities. Understanding of network protocols, network capture/analysis tools such as Wireshark is required. Experience working with AWS environments and various security solutions is a must. Ability to work non-core hours if necessary.
