Security Engineer

As a senior-level security engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our applications and infrastructure.

You will lead penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews to identify potential threats and develop comprehensive security test plans to mitigate risks.

Your expertise in cloud security will enable you to ensure security best practices are implemented across all cloud environments.

Additionally, you will work closely with development teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective security strategies to protect against sophisticated cyber threats.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to prioritize security efforts.
  • Design and execute penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities in systems and networks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into every phase of software development.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging security trends and technologies to inform your approach.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on penetration testing or ethical hacking, application security, cloud security, and Dev Sec Ops.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for security automation.
  • Industry certifications like CEH, Security+, AWS/GCP Security, or any Dev Sec Ops-related certification preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
