Job Title: Forensic Data Security Specialist

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Data Security Specialist to join our team. As a Forensic Data Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our data from security risks and policy violations.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • CIPT certification preferred
  • Over 3 years of hands-on experience in data security or information protection
  • Strong knowledge of encryption, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and others
  • Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance standards

 

Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining data protection controls, ensuring the secure storage, transmission, and handling of sensitive data, monitoring systems for data security risks and policy violations, supporting compliance with data privacy regulations, collaborating with IT and security teams to enforce data classification and retention policies, and conducting regular audits and risk assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities.
