Senior Land Acquisition Specialist

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end land acquisition process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of renewable energy projects across Maharashtra.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire suitable land parcels through effective scouting, negotiation, documentation, registration, and handover.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local landowners, agents, revenue officials, district-level authorities, and government departments.
  • Conduct thorough title due diligence to ensure legal sanctity of land, collaborating closely with internal legal teams.
  • Oversee Right of Way (RoW) acquisition, mutation, land conversion, and compliance with state-specific renewable energy policies.
  • Promote open communication, regular updates, and conflict resolution to ensure smooth project progress.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of land acquisition processes and regulations in Maharashtra.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a field team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software.
