Project Development Specialist

About Our Renewable Energy Company

We are a leading renewable energy company with a portfolio of wind, solar, and hybrid projects across India.

Our team develops, builds, operates, and maintains projects through in-house engineering, procurement, construction, operations & maintenance teams.

As the Project Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing land acquisition activities for Wind projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project development activities and collaborate with departments for land acquisition and related tasks.
  • IDentify suitable developers/aggregators for wind energy projects.
  • Ensure adherence to statutes and regulations related to land, forest, and approvals.
  • Assess risks in land acquisition and recommend mitigation plans.
  • Lead legal due diligence and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless land acquisition.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to land acquisition.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in land acquisition involving Revenue/Private/Forest Land.
  • Minimum 12 Years of hands-on experience in Land procurement/acquisition for Wind and/or solar projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of government policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Thorough knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to forests and land.
  • Familiarity with land acquisition processes.
  • Ability to conduct preliminary due diligence checks.
  • Proficiency in identifying suitable developers/aggregators.
  • Proven ability to secure lands within targeted timelines.
