Role Overview

As a senior site reliability engineer, you will play a vital role in driving operational excellence by ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement monitoring tools and dashboards for system health, performance, and capacity planning to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop automation scripts to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency in deployments, scaling, and maintenance.
  • Lead incident management efforts, conduct root cause analysis, and drive improvements to prevent recurrence.
  • Optimize system performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks in infrastructure, databases, applications, and networking.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design scalable, fault-tolerant systems that meet business needs.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and enhance delivery cycles.
  • Develop disaster recovery plans to ensure fast recovery from system failures.
  • Monitor resource utilization and implement cost-effective scaling strategies.

Requirements

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Python, NodeJS, Bash, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms and knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Ability to maintain comprehensive documentation of systems and processes, provide mentorship, and share knowledge with team members.
