Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our acquisition strategy in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, with expertise in identifying and evaluating potential targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • M&A Strategy and Origination: Develop and execute a comprehensive acquisition strategy aligned with our company's long-term growth objectives.
  • Deal Evaluation and Structuring: Lead end-to-end transaction processes, including financial modeling, commercial due diligence, and business case development.
  • Due Diligence & Risk Assessment: Manage cross-functional due diligence teams and identify key deal risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Negotiation and Execution: Lead or support negotiations on price, structure, governance, and definitive agreements.
  • Post-Merger Integration (PMI): Develop and oversee integration plans to deliver expected value from acquisitions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA/PGDM from a Tier-1 institution; engineering background preferred.
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience, with at least 5–7 years in M&A, corporate development, or investment banking in manufacturing/automotive.
  • Key Competencies: Strategic thinking, strong analytical and financial acumen, high negotiation and influencing skills, cross-cultural team leadership, project management, and stakeholder alignment.
