Site Reliability Engineer

12+ Years of Experience.

Leading organizations are seeking an accomplished Site Reliability Engineer to drive reliability and efficiency in their services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical systems and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Implementation: Help define, drive, and implement the SRE strategy to promote an "Automate-first" culture in operating services.
  • Toil Reduction: Develop methodologies and strategies for identifying toil-heavy and inefficient processes, and automate and eliminate them.
  • Service Metrics: Assist in developing engineering and operational service metrics with actionable plans to improve operational efficiency, enhance service quality/SLA, and optimize delivery.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in SRE role, with practical experience defining and implementing Service Level Objectives, and operating to Error Budgets.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, solid understanding of critical Production Support processes, and experience with one/more public/private cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure).
